G'wan Blakey

Oh James Blake you beautiful, beautiful man. After spending around an hour and a half hanging round Kings Cross, trying to score 2 tickets to see James Blake at Heaven, my friend and I succeed. After we ran around, pinched each other and downed a pint of overpriced venue cider, we found our self's staring at the stage waiting for Mr Blake to come on. 

The 2 hour gig was over before we knew it, and it was crazzzzyyyyy. Playing the good old favourites like Limit to your Love and The Wilhelm Scream, the cracker Retrograde and some brilliant new tracks from the Overgrown album. I was intrigued to see how he managed to produce the same beats live as well as balancing his soft, morbid like tones, and he pulled it off ridiculously well! 

I now can't stop listening to Overgrown, with my favourite tracks being Voyeur, Take a Fall for me and Digital Lion, so definitely have a listen!
