LFW DAY 1 *Part 1*

Okay so technically it is day 2 of London Fashion Week but I was interning yesterday so I couldn't attend the shows I was invited too (Boo). I'm going to write this in 2 parts though as there is too much to talk a about and show you! However I was interning with an amazing fashion PR company so I did get to experience life behind the scenes of a fashion show.

While I was working at the Conchita Perez show on Thursday night in Tower Hill, I managed to take some snaps while I was watching the show!

So it was another early start for me today and a sleepy commute into London to make my way to Somerset house, but I didn't care as I was too excited clutching my show tickets! I bumped into my best friend and fellow blogger Sabby C at the station, so we entered the madness together!

                    

I soon realised it was not possible to attend all of my 11 shows today, so I thought I would soak in the atmosphere in the press rooms (sat next to one of my  favourite bloggers llmrys!!) and around Somerset house before I attended the Holly Fulton show!  The show was AMAZING!!! To be able to attend (and be seated!) at such a great British show to kick of fashion week, made my day.  Fulton is known for her amazing prints and she did not disappoint for her SS 14 collection with an array of pastel blues and bright reds patterned silk. I am now obsessed with her bright orange/pink camo printed designs! (Since attending Premiere Vision in Paris, I knew I would be seeing a lot of that this September). The music had a 70s type vibe to it with a great techno beat that vibrated our seats! I loved the logoed jumper and skirt combo and was completely besotted with the circle see through dress with crop top layered over it.
