So I am not really a lipgloss sort of girl but for some reason I was drawn to these little LA Girl babies. They looked fun & pretty and for the price I thought why not. In my early teenage years lipgloss was the real MVP because come on who didn't want the most sparkly lips (personal favourites) . Oh and to have your hair constantly attached to your lips all damn day...ALL OF US. So yeah I have sort of grown out of that look now and prefer a matte lip. But like I said these were pretty.
I was initially shocked with how pigmented they looked when I swatched them! Normally I think lipgloss (especially shiny ones not matte) tend to be a little on the not so colourful side. So I was a little skeptical when I first tried these. They are probably the most pigmented styles I have tried. However you do need to build them up quite a lot to get the desired bold effect colour. I'm also not a fan of the sticky-ness of a lipgloss in general so I don't think these will be my go to lip products.
However these are a great budget and a load of fun. Also a handy tip if like me your not a fan of the shine, pop a thin bit of tissue over your lips and lightly brush on some translucent powder over top and you will have yourself a matte lip. I also got a few other bits from L.A. Girl Cosmetics so I am excited to try them out too!
I have the LA girl concealer and absolutely love it. These shades look amazing! Your photography is gorgeous :)
