Hat - Sample Sale (similar here)
This is a sort of new feature to my blog. I say a sort of new feature because well, when I started out blogging all of those years ago I *tried* to do outfit posts (I failed miserably so we won't dwell on those pre-historic posts). I mention recently in a blog post (and this insta) that I am not really a confident person no matter how many selfies I take. So for me, this is a real BIG step guys!
My blog is my little place away from my surroundings where I can post and talk about anything I want because, well it's my space on the internet. The more noticed my blog gets the more pressure I feel I have on me not only to up my game but also caring a LOT more about all of these extra peoples opinions. It's probably only in the last 6 months where I have gotten to a stage where I talk about my blog with my friends as I don't want to be seen as someone who well, is basically a show off. However they have been super supportive and actually turns out they think what I am doing is really cool (so thanks gals you have given me a lot more confidence in putting myself out there).
So getting back to my actual post, welcome to the fashion section of the blog (LOL). With the weather being all over the place here in the UK right now its pretty damn hard to decide what to put on in the mornings! Also when the sun did first show its little face I realised I pretty much have nothing 'summery' to wear at all (quick little Birkenstock order later). Also I am not a fan of showing a load of flesh (getting my shoulders out is pretty risqué enough). So I thought this outfit was the perfect sort of step into spring/summer look. The Warehouse shirt is super super cute with this floral print but I decided to tie it up at the bottom to give it a little more edge. Pair it with a cute & colourful lace bra underneath for a bit more sexy sass (sexy sass, is that a thing? I don't know. It is now). I added these sandals instead of my usual go to trainer as I was wearing jeans and thought it would be a bit too hot (plus had to show off those orange fake tanned ankles, whey).
Then the best and most bargain-ous thing about this outfit is my boho vibe hat, which I got for (wait for it) £1 in a work sample sale, YESSS! I had a similar hat last summer, but the lovely people at customs chucked it under a x-ray machine and it got mashed up, so it just looks like a floppy mess right now.
So yeah I hope you enjoy this sort of post on my blog, it was fun to do! So shoutouts to Annie & Joey for putting up with my awkwardness and getting some okay-ish photos of my mug.
