J.W. Anderson X Topshop

I am so stoked for this collaboration and have my eye on a couple of the jumpers, logo bag, pinafore dress and I love the little logo hair pins and badges. I have been fond of the brand since hearing Alexa Chung mention it, in some magazine article or other. I like how the collection (The Butterfly Collector) mixes a lot of crazy prints such as tartan, zebra and paisley all together in one collection. It reminds me very much and times well with the whole back to school vibe, with branded pencils and notebooks. He quotes "I love a promotional product" "I went out to make a brand. I never went out to make a young designer", I like the fact he is using the simple branding in an effective way and also he is very honest about what his vision is and where the brand is going. The collection is priced from 95p too which is a great bonus for us students! I just hope it is in stores  and not sold out (Think it is the 14th September it enters stores) by the time 'student lock in' during Freshers so I can get 20% off!
