I am just going to put it out there that I LOVE tea! I know, how very British of me. So when the lovely Becky at teapigs sent me their 'Modern Matcha Kit' I was beyond excited! The Matcha tea is a natural and organic 'power green' powder filled with lots of antioxidant goodies. Matcha contains lots of goodness including L-theanine giving you a slow release of energy. This is the perfect time for me to have found this heavenly tea as I am in the last stages on my degree and I have quickly become obsessed with this stuff because it is so calming! Also one serving of the teapigs Matcha is the equivalent to 15 cups of normal green tea!

You can drink the tea in various ways, my favourite being a simple hot drink so half a teaspoon of Matcha and hot water (whizzed up with the aerolatte hand held whisk obviously). You can also drink a shot of Matcha goodness out of your very own teapigs shot glass. I mixed my shot with orange juice but you can mix it with whatever takes your fancy. I have also seen people putting the Matcha powder into baking recipes such as cookies, which is a super cool idea!
