So if you don't know about Defected Records, (why not?) you will probably know some of their talent including MK. They are a pretty big deal in the world of house music and put on the dopest nights all around the world including Ministry of Sound in London and Pacha in Ibiza. (I am still pretty gutted I missed their night as Sankeys Manchester the other week)!
To celebrate the 15 year anniversary of Defected they are opening an exciting pop up store in Shoreditch. It is definitely a must see event with some of the jam packed events going on. The store will showcase Defected's branded clothing range.
Launched last year, the popular range features the slogan ‘I AM
DEFECTED’ created by award-winning designer, Trevor Jackson, and easily spotted
on both the dance floors and festival fields.
As well as the core range, the store will stock a brand new range of ‘Defected
15’ sweats and tees especially designed for the forthcoming summer season.
As well as an EXCLUSIVE access to all of their present and past music catalogue and even stock of LIMITED EDITION label archives. There is also the chance to to attend talks and workshops with some of the talented members of the Defected family.
Located at Unit 7, Dray Walk in East London’s Old Truman Brewery and store hours are 11.00 – 19.00 (Mon-Sat) and 12.00 - 18.00 (Sun). I know I can't wait to pop down to Shoreditch to check it out!
