Contour Palette, Foundation Stick, Berry Lipstick, Nude Lipstick, Baked Bronzer - New Look

Now I'm going to put it out there. I'm someone who spends a LOT of money on makeup. And truth be told I ain't sorry about it (well maybe a little when I cry over my bank balance but hey). That's my hobby, that's what I enjoy and that's what the basis of this blog is about so why can't I spend MY money on makeup? For someone who has about -38% self confidence (no matter how many selfies you may see of me on Instagram). Make up probably gets me up to -12% (or even 0 if I've contoured to the max).  A lot of my friends marvel at all of my latest purchases from Morphe or Kylie Comsetics. My mum moans at me for having ANOTHER parcel delivered. And well my postman hates me.  All of this being said you really don't have to spend the earth to be part of this world or even blog about it! I feel like SO many brands have really cottoned on to this beauty bandwagon and have invested in to it big time! From packaging to blogger relations, brands know there is a hella lot of money to make from all things beauty based.

I have previously talked about my amazement over Primark's beauty range ( I really want to get my hands on there new additions too). Today I want to talk about New Look and their make up range.

I'm pretty sure I have mentioned their nail varnish and lipsticks before, which btw I totally dig. The lipsticks are so creamy and they contain vitamin E, so it's sort of like a lip balm. I actually really like cheap lipsticks because you can just get so many colours and then justify to yourself that 10 new lipsticks is a perfectly normal thing to do.

I feel like there isn't much shade choice when it comes to foundations and things, which can be a bit tricky. But I am totally diggin this foundation, which I prefer to use as a contour stick for a quick and easy process to darken up the edges of my face (and then blend out with a beauty blender). The powder contour kit is so cute and would say it's a great palette for you first timers who are a bit apprehensive about getting into the scary world of contouring (it's really not scary and also the best thing invented, but people seem to get REAL confused by it - watch my simple way to contour here). I don't think it blends as well as some of my more expensive palettes but for a quick powder contour look, it does the job.

I don't really have much to say about the shimmery bronzer. Apart from I'm all over it. It reminds me of a Laura Geller one I have too - which is about 5 times the price!

Now I wouldn't say straight up I would throw away my luxury high end make up products but some high street products can be such amazing dupes! Especially if you want to get into makeup or beauty blogging - it really doesn't have to cost the earth. Plus people really want to know if budget beauty can be just as good (which it totally can).
