I am a self confessed beauty junkie (as you may or well MAY know). On a recent lunchtime Primark haul, I ended up going a little bit crazy on the old makeup front.  (Watch my PRIMAK video here, the fact this video has had over 11k views with that bloody sign).

I'm not even sure why I picked so much beauty stuff up to be honest with you (I can be a bit of a beauty snob sometimes). I got a lot of their summer range, which I think is called Bronze. Plus a lot of festival based pieces like glitter & gems so I can create some fun glitzy looks. This will be coming in a separate post and maybe even some cheeky videos.

I knew most of all I really wanted to see what their new more 'luxury' range was like, so here's what I got, what I am digging & what it's like. Primark's new beauty range is called PS...Pro, this is their take on a more upmarket collection. So the collection has a lot of different products included in it (the set up in store reminded me of M&S's range). The first thing I noticed about it all was the packaging. Now I am a self proclaimed packaging sucker. It's a very simple and sleek design but it just adds that extra luxurious vibe to it. Sometimes it's hard to find a new undamaged beauty item in Primark, so I found it a lot easier to pick stuff from this collection.

Corrector Palette - this reminds me of the make up forever palette, however I don't think it is nearly as pigmented. I like the fact it's an all in one palette so you can correct (with the green), conceal and contour (if you like the lighter shades). The container it's self if very plastic which takes away that 'luxury' feeling. Plus the strange eyeshadow brush that is included perplexed me a little (and made me feel like I was about 5). But if you are new to it all, this is the one for you! I mean who wants to spend £40 on a palette that they won't know what to do with.

Green Corrector - I love me some green corrector to cancel out ALL the redness. I tend to go with my fav (and budget) LA Girl Concealer. This is a lot more runny than I thought it would be, so you have to be careful that you don't end up looking like the girl from Wicked. Nevertheless I think this is SO SO good and really does get rid of the redness (yay to a fab base).

Foundation - this is probably the favourite thing I picked up from this range. I got it in a darker shade than I would normally wear so it would match to my fake tan skin! The packaging on this bottle is an absolute dream. It sort of reminds me of a lot of cult luxury ones. It's got quite a thick consistency and a sort of matte-ness to it too. I have been using this with a mix of the Marc Jacobs foundation and it has been flawless.

Primer - this is the product I was most excited about because, I am forever looking for a matte primer that works. They actually had 2 primers on display but the other was an illuminating one. Again the packaging on this reminds me of the Make Up Forever ones. The first time I used this it went all weird on my skin, so the more I rubbed it in, the more it gathered into rolled up gel pieces (weird, right?!). However since using it again, it *fingers crossed* hasn't done this. This does remind me of a knock off Benefit porefessional. It's that's sort of style and feel, but a little more runny.

Lipstick - now this was £3 which I thought was a bit pricey for a Primark lip liner. But once I opened it I realised it was a fancy felt tip pen stain thang. So it gives you that natural (sort of benefit tint) rouge effect. Truth be told this is something I probably won't use that much but it's nice to switch it up sometimes.

Lip Scrub - hallelujah, that's all I can say. I have been after a lip scrub for such a long time and now I have this in my life. It's fab. It smells (and tastes) great. It works.

Lip Pencils - so one is a clear waxy gel, which I guess is acting like a sort of primer. I'm not sure if I totally get this as I didn't notice a difference with my lipstick staying on or not. The other is a nude liner / concealer which I think is quite a good way to block out your natural lip colour to start fresh. Plus you can use it for any conceal related problem.

Overall I am really digging the range and I think it is so perfect if you want to try a bit more fancy stuff but don't have the fancy funds to match! Like I've mentioned before you don't need to spend loads to be a beauty blogger. Have any of you tried Primark's new beauty range? What do you think?
