So while I was browsing some different sites - I came across a brilliant looking dupe for the well loved and praised Lorac Pro Palette 2. It was around £5 so I thought why not try it out and see if it was any good. No when it arrived I was impressed with the initial packing it pretty much is identical to the original palette apart from you can tell the quality is cheaper. The colours looked really good apart from there not actually being as much eyeshadow in each square.
When giving them a little test out and swatch I soon realised why this palette was so cheap. The colours and packaging are actually really good for the price you pay but they aren't very pigmented. To build the colour up you would have to put a LOT of layers of the shadow on! I really wanted to love this palette as the colours are just dreamy but they just don't justice when you put them on. So I think I will need to purchase the real palette from Lorac themselves. As I am obsessed with those Rose & Mocha shades!
But it was nice to experiment with a cheaper alternative because sometime you just need to save some money when buying makeup! Let me know if you've tried any dupes for brands I would love to know if anyone has found really good ones!
