Diptyque Candle, Origins GinZing Face Mask, Laura Mercier Creme Brûlée, Sister & Co Scrub, Pore Mask* - YesStyle
So I am not going to lie my perfect weekday evening consists of being home, cosy and having a little pamper. I know I should really be out doing something crazy & fun but nahhhhh. Yes I am 23 years old but sometimes there is nothing better than coming home to a relaxing evening of netflix, sleep & a bit of pampering. This time of year gives us the perfect excuse too! As those nights get darker and those temperatures drop, I am all about bubble baths and binging Narcos (who's with me?). Having a weekday pamper session is such a perfect way to de-stress and rejuvenate yourself for the rest of the week ahead.
So my idea of a perfect pamper evening is to light some wonderful Diptyque candles - which I have to admit took a lot of time to build up the courage to actually light them (they are just SO damn pretty). Then I like to run a HOT / deep bath and add a couple of rich dollops of the Laura Mercier Creme Brûlée. Which I suppose is a bit like a posh bubble bath, now this is something I really love and is an extra luxurious treat. However I don't think this would be something I would buy for myself as it's hella expensive. I do really dig the little wooden stick you get with this allowing you to whisk you bath into a bubbly, sugary treat.
Then onto the skincare part of the pamper session - I start off (make sure all your make up is off first, obvs) with this Sister & Co scrub (from ASOS) which makes my skin feel softer than anything I have tried before. It is a little messy and if you are going to use it on your WHOLE body, do it in the shower because from personal experience, it gets everywhere! Then to hydrate and make that horrible change of weather skin look a little more vibrant, I like to use the Origins Ginzing face mask to put a little bit more life back into it (Check out my deeper review about Origins face masks here).
After going red as a lobster in my scolding bath, it's time to get out & chill with a bit of netfilx. While I'm binge watching Narcos (shoutouts Pablo), I tend to use a sheet mask (if I haven't used a cream one previously) or these little nose pore masks. They are pretty odd but so far these are the best ones I've used. Plus because they are sheet masks, they are super easy and clean to use then other ones I have tried.
There we have it, the perfect autumn weekday evening! I feel like this could make a really nice YouTube video but not sure how I would go about filming it! What do you guys think?
