My Current #FOTD Everyday Makeup || Armani Foundation, Huda New Nude, Too Faced Better Than Sex

It's been a while, hi, hello, how are you? So today is all about my-go to everyday face, considering my 2015 #fotd blogpost is one of my most viewed, I thought it was about time I give it a little update and face lift. 

Let's start with the base, to prime my face I have been using the Estee Lauder Illuminator primer which I absolute adore and have been using for the last 3 months or so. Originally I had this sitting on my shelf and not wanting to use it as I was put off with using a glow based primer. I have super oily skin as it is, so didn't want to just look like a disco ball. Yet when I finally bit the bullet, I found that its just a really hard working primer that just has a little bit of a glow, so I would say it gives you more of an luminous look to it. I think it just makes you look a little more alive (especially if you're having a dull skin day). Then on to foundation, now I have actually been switching from this Giorgio Armani Luminous one and the Estee Lauder DoubleWear. I got this Armani foundation at the airport back in April and bought in a shade darker than what I was colour matched to (5.5 is the shade I actually bought FYI) in order to match my holiday tan. If you're looking for a lowly foundation this is it, the coverage isn't as thick as I thought it was going to be but a great holiday foundation! 

Now onto all things eyes, my go-to brow is the Benefit brow pencil as I find I can use it for my whole brow, which makes things a lot quicker in the morning. I use my Huda New Nude palette as my everyday mirror, so I tend to use the more brown shades for a quick sweep over the lid. But it's a great day-to-night palette, where I will use the metallic shades and a darker pink in my crease to give my eye a bit more of a wow factor. However I don't tend to use the glitter pigments in this palette as I find them a bit crumbly and a lot of fall out over my face! Last but not least eyes, if you haven't tried Too Faced's Better Than Sex mascara, where have you been!? There is such an instant volume and lengthening to this mascara, I do find it a bit wet so I don't put in on my lower lash otherwise I find it gets everywhere by the time I get to work. I did recently try their new Damn Girl mascara and think it's like this one but even more OTT - so I need to get my hands on that asap! 

Last but not least lips, to be honest my everyday lip is putting on a lip balm conditioner when I'm doing my makeup in the morning and forgetting to actually do my lipstick. But my current go-to reach for is this lovely nude/pink shade from Bobbi Brown's Luxe collection, it glides on like a dream!
