Primark Beauty || Haul & Review
I don't think I have ever tried any of Primark's beauty products - apart from the odd false nail set. So I was pretty intrigued to try some of the make up out finally. I have seen a lot of people posting the odd Primark beauty product and I was super keen to try out the lip products. Unfortunately the chubby lip sticks that I really wanted (that come in some amazing Kylie Jenner style colours btw) had all been opened and tested. I did spend a good 5 minutes opening each stick to see if they were okay but they were all blunt *sobssss*. These really need to have some sort of packaging over Primark!
Anyway onto what I actually did pick up! I got 2 moisture rich lipsticks in Calypso which is sort of a coral pink toned colour (first swatch). And the other in a more nude brown tone (didn't have a name on) but this really reminds me of the Mac Velvet Teddy shade (second swatch)! These go on really smooth but they don't look to shiny/glossy which I really like. Plus they have vitamin E in so it doesn't dry your lips out which is always a winner! I also picked up a bargain lipstick which was 90p! In this lovely brown/pink shade (Desert Sand - second swatch) and a lipliner in shade 10 to match. However the liner is a lot browner that I thought (see the last swatch).
I bought the blusher (which I think only comes in this colour) because I basically loved the packaging. I do find this quite hard to open each time which is a little annoying and I don't find it super blend-able. But hey it looks hella cute!
I must say you can really tell Primark have really thought about the packaging of their beauty products. Everything seems to have this gold/black theme which makes things look a lot more expensive and luxurious. So yaaaass Primark! Lastly I picked up a bunch of their brushes as they were mostly £1 and loved the copper style on them. Truth be told I thought they would be good for flat lays and didn't really think about using them. But surprisingly I actually LOVE them - the fact they have 2 different sizes on a brush really saves time looking ages for the brush you want. The bristles are soft and feel great on your skin - not too tough and scratchy like some value brushes.
Have you tried anything from the Primark Beauty range yet?
