I've been blogging on and off for over 6 years, and this world of blogging that is a LONG time! The space and community has changed so much and it's actually turned into a job now. Back in 2012 it was all very low-fi and blabbering reviews about products. Fast-forward to 2018 (I mean I still blabber on a lot) but it seems now there is more of a pressure to create high quality images and content. Now to be honest I see this as my little space on the internet and I'm sticking to that. Imma do what I want and be proud of that.
I basically stopped blogging for a big chunk of time when I was at university just because I had no inspiration and constantly compared my content to others. I actually really regret that as it was the time where blogs started to grow and become more of a thing. However after actually getting back into proper blogging this year, I finally feel like things are happening and going somewhere (I hope). Now I just do this whole content thing because it's something that comes natural to be and have done it in my spare time for years. Plus it's always a plus when you work in social media that you have another layer to your skills (career tip for you there). So here's to consistent content, growing views and a big 2019!
