Now I'm in my mid-twenties I've feel like I started to get to grips a bit more with SPF. Obviously I'm very into my skincare but SPF is something I've forgotten about and only see as part of my holiday routine. So for my holiday this year I made sure I was covered on the SPF front but also have now started to use these products since I've been home.

I actually did a grown-up thing and got factor 50 suncream this year, it wasn't until recently that I found out the number was about how long it stays on and that you can still tan even by using a higher factor. I prefer the spray oil suncreams, as the amount of people I saw walking round the pool with massive white and creamy backs or faces was soul-destorying (okay maybe a bit dramatic but still). At least with a clear oil you don't have to worry about not having it rubbed in. I also think with a spray you don't waste as much as you spray directly on to your skin rather than squeezing out a mound of cream.

I was kindly sent this Prisma Protect cream from Dermalogica a while back and never really used it. However since I've been using quite a heavy acid based serum that recommends wearing SPF, this has been my go-to. It's not thick or greasy which I find some spf products can be. This is now my-go to SPF product at home and abroad. I just use this on my face as more of a daily moisturiser, so on holiday I was bare-faced most of the time, so this was just a nice refreshing cream to pop on and get on with my day.

Clinique SPF Stick - you can read a more detailed in my upcoming Clinique Suncare post. But having an easy on-the-go SPF product made reapplying sun care less of an effort, so I was re-applying a lot more (meaning my skin loved me). I also love using it as a SPF lip balm, which is fab for the UK too.
